Industrial Maintenance experience required. Must be adept with PLC’s, troubleshooting, and machine controls. Need experienced industrial plant electrician. Specialized in controls/instrumentation and automation.
Necessary qualifications are:
-Experience in troubleshooting motors to determine fault with use of meg-ohmmeter.
-Experience with troubleshooting 480Volt 3 phase wiring to motors as well as troubleshooting control circuits 24 vdc/ac through 240 vac.
-Candidate must have a firm understanding of 2 wire and 3 wire start/stop circuits, as well
-Must have experience or understanding to install, program and troubleshoot variable frequency drives for motors and interface them with plcs through relay logic. Also a knowledge of soft starts motor controls.
-Must have strong industrial machine troubleshooting experience in fault finding and able to follow a wire/schematics thoroughly.
-Candidate should have previous experience in working around plcs (terminations) and ladder logic programming knowledge/experience is a plus.
-Applicant must be able to install conduit. Bend conduit and pull wire. Must be familiar with NEC Codes and how to apply them.
-Having a State Licensed Electrician certification is a bonus.
-Being able to provide documents of Electrical experience and License.
This position last approximately 90 days, beginning the las week of April. Located in remote Alaska locations. Housing, meals, and travel from Seattle provided. Excellent wage and benefits available. This is a Union position and requires joining.
